Is there something you think you’re not good at?

A photo of Caroline at the end of the London to Brighton bike ride in the late 90's. She is wearing a bright yellow t-shirt and a relieved smile. It's a reminder that I do like cycling (when there's a purpose like an event or a daily commute).

When do you feel confident? When are you a good listener? When can you speak up and share your thoughts?

I love these questions.

They’re all about finding out when you can do or be something, and what helps you do it.

So often people come to coaching believing that they’re not good at something - being confident, a good listener, a good communicator, able to present well, be a leader, be strategic - the list goes on. Yet when we dig in and explore, it’s rarely always the case.

We can find examples, experiences or evidence of when it has been possible, and that’s a brilliant foundation to build on.

It’s much easier to find solutions for the times you don’t or can’t, when you know when you do or can.

Is there something you think you’re not good at?

And can you look for the examples of when you are?

Wishing you a wonderful week,
