My coaching is all about helping you win at being you
We shine a spotlight inside, and use it to light your way ahead.
The majority of my clients are in business - either senior leaders in an organisation who are breaking the traditional leadership mould, or solopreneurs looking to create their own path. I also work with coaches through Certification and beyond.
Many of them are stepping into a larger space in their lives - through promotion, a life transition, or the start or end of a career chapter. Each of them are up for a process of self discovery to find their way forward.
My coaching style is collaborative, creative and holistic. We’ll create a safe, brave space for you to think and explore. I’ll help you break things down, join the dots and create a clear picture.
I’m here now because of the impact of coaching on my own life
It helped me find a path, exit gracefully from a role I’d loved (twice), and lead my life with energy now.
When I was younger I had no real idea what I wanted to be ‘when I grew up’ - I really wished I did!
So I took it step by step. I studied what I enjoyed the most, earned money for travel adventures and university, and met someone who helped me identify a path. A huge gift that led to a successful career in Marketing for Nestle and GSK, working on brands from peanut butter to sports drinks.
I loved this for 12 years. I led teams and ran cross-functional projects. I got married and had two children. I was a director on a brilliant brand, and yet... it didn’t feel right anymore. I didn’t want to stay where I was, but I didn’t know what else to do!
My company arranged coaching for me and it was life changing. It gave me the time and space to step back, to discover what I wanted, and to find a way to work in a way that worked for me.
I changed path and became a freelance Marketing & Strategy Consultant, delivering projects and facilitating workshops for global brands across sectors including consumer goods, consumer healthcare and education.
After 7 years I realised I wanted to have an impact on a more personal level after so many years working with and for large businesses. I found what I was looking for in coaching.
As a coach, I’m always building my skills and experience
My training began with a gold standard certification programme, and continues with ongoing learning - I’m endlessly curious about who we are, and why we are.
I started my coaching journey with over 200 hours of training with the Co-Active® Training Institute (CTI). I am a Certified Professional Co-Active® Coach, and an accredited Coach with the ICF (PCC).
I’ve also completed the 6 month Playing Big Facilitators Training with Tara Mohr, as well as her The Coaching Way course. I‘m a huge fan of her work, and weave her principles and practical tools for connecting women with their own wisdom into my coaching (her book is the one I most often send my clients). I have my own coach, and coaching supervision, to support me on the journey.
I’m always curious to expand my horizons - with books, podcasts and new learning, including the system of Human Design. I love how it helps us really embrace who we are and why we are, and lean into an easier way of being that feels more aligned.
I share what I learn as I go, and you can read my reflections here.
Outside of coaching…
I live near Bushy Park with my artist husband, our two teenagers and our dog. I love fresh air and a big sky and get outside as much as possible - with family, with a friend, or with a podcast and a coffee.
I’m a dedicated declutterer (I almost started a business in this before coaching!), a regular at our local yoga studio, and I love to read - most recently Lily and the Octopus by Steven Rowley.
What’s your story, and where would you like to go?
